METHODOLOGY & LEARNING @RPS
Evaluation is a PROCESS, a means to an end and not AN END Itself
Teaching method in RPS are specialized in the sense that they guide the students towards self learning, and the teachers towards continues improvisation.
Teaching Methodology involves classrooms sessions clubbed with Class assignments. Self assignments are given on the same lines, which are solved in special tutorial sessions by the teacher. No home work is given to students that may need any out side help.
The focus is on conceptualization and building the topic from scratch rather than on practice and rote learning. Motivation to learn subjects is ensured by relating them to practical situations.
In junior classes the preparation to face future competitions is done by means of skill development [like analytical, memorizing abilities, observation] preparation of base knowledge in areas like language, general awareness etc.
In higher classes special emphasis is on training for competitive exams depending on the choice of area. The preparation of the syllabus is covered under the preparation for competitive exams. Special inputs are given for scoring high in boards [Public exams].
